- Department is offering GTU approved Specialization/Minor course on Artificial intelligence and machine learning since year 2020-2021
- Department is providing 100% internship to the final year students.
- Department has achieved first rank at state level 11 times in University examinations conducted by GTU,Ahmedabad since the year 2018.
- Department has achieved first rank at zone level 15 times in University examinations conducted by GTU,Ahmedabad since the year 2018.
- Department has established the SAP Sponsored “Center of Excellence (CoE) on Emerging Technologies” with Edunet Foundation.Industry experts are giving training on various SAP courses. After completion of course students are getting internship and placement opportunities.
- Department has established IBM Skillsbuild Virtual CoE through Edunet foundation to impart practical skills in students to meet the challenging needs of industry, academia and society in the world of computer science and engineering.
- The Department offers 10000+ free IBM courses under the IBM Skillsbuild Program. Students get Free IBM Cloud Access and Training by industry experts. Students can learn emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Cyber Security along with job Readiness and professional skills.
- The Department has established SPOKE Model with TATA STRIVE for students training on various Emerging Technologies like cyber Security, UI UX Design, Full stack Development etc. After Completion of training students get benefited with placement opportunities by TATA STRIVE.
- The Department has signed M.O. U. With Escrow Infotech, Agami Tech Pvt, Casepoint.Pvt., Siliconbrix Systems Pvt., Beetonz Infotech,Solwin Infotech, Coderkube Technologies, Toshal Infotech, Evolution Info Secure,Omtec Web for Skill Development, Outcome based Trainings, Internships, Placements and Related Services.
- Four faculties of the department are pursuing their Ph.D. study under GTU.
- Department has organized more than 118+ events/STTP/Workshop/webinars/seminars since the year 2019.
- More than 6 alumni students of the department are working as successful entrepreneurs in the various sectors of the computer science domain.
- Department is publishing an ESKRA student technical magazine which is published two times in a year. The magazine article publication and editorial body is managed by department students under the faculty guidance.
- Department is publishing E-news letter once a year. The newsletter summarizes achievements of department, faculties and students along with various activities conducted at the department level.
- The department has started a CSI student chapter to serve the student community by bridging the gap between academia and industry. CSI promotes and provides financial support for research work in contemporary areas in IT and Computer Science from the year 2020. CSI Student chapter organizes a number of technical activities including workshops, competitions, technical symposiums, expert lectures etc. for its student members.
- Department is running a Developer Student Club(DSC) under the banner of Google since 2016 which provides students a platform to build their professional and personal network.
- Department is running iNeuron student club which provides an opportunity for passionate individuals to contribute to Technological growth within their college community. The various Seminars and workshops have been organized by student leaders for the club members.
- Department currently has 16 MoU with the various Industries.
- Department has a high faculty retention ratio.
- More than 11 patents have been published by faculties and students of the department.
- Department is running courses viz. Domestic Data Entry Operator and Junior Software Developer under PMKVY which is a skill development initiative scheme of the Government of India for recognition and standardization of skills.

- The department faculties have published 41 papers in National and International reputed journals/conferences, published 12 patents and 1 book since the year 2019.
- More than 150+ MOOC courses have been completed for knowledge upgradation by all the faculties since the year 2019.
- More than 15+ expert talks delivered by faculty as a resource person at various institutes and organizations in the last three academic years.
