We have initiated Skill Development Programme with the support from the DHI, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Govt. of India supported Common Engineering Facility Centre (CEFC). CEFC is equipped with various cutting-edge machineries along with five major departments i.e., Design Centre, Prototype Development Centre, Training Centre & Testing and Calibration Laboratory to support the country’s textile and allied industries. We have signed MOUs with over 50 industries to enhance our industry interaction and collaboration.

Develop your skill in emerging courses like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Cyber Security under SAP India and IBM Skillsbuild supported Centre of Excellence through Edunet Foundation without any cost. Last year our 25 students of CSE and Electrical branch are certified by SAP India and 42 students are certified by IBM. Develop your skill under the Vayumitra Skill Development Programme approved by National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE), Chennai a premier institute of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India. We stand in the top five positions across departments in Gujarat at university level.

To promote and recognize excellence in technical education, our three programs, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering of RNGPIT are accredited by National Board of Accredetation (NBA), New Delhi. We have already applied for NBA for remaining two programs i.e. Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

The RNGPIT has implemented 5S techniques and achieved “5S – WorkPlace Management System” certification w.e.f. June, 2021 and becoming the 2 nd institute in India holding 5S certification by Quality Circle Forum of India, Secunderabad.

RNGPIT is committed to impart excellence in technical education both theoretically and practically. As a part of this process, the institute has recruited well qualified and experienced faculties as well as developed state of the art laboratories. The institute is having 14 Ph.D. faculties and 17 faculties are pursuing their Doctoral research work in various field of engineering.

Chemical Engineering Department has been recognized as Schedule-I Environmental Auditor by Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Gandhinagar and carried out Environmental Audit Work of more than 30 various chemical industries. Mechanical engineering department has signed MOU with Dassault System, France for establishment of authorised training centre for Solid Works software for Mechanical Engineering students. The department also imparts specialised hands-on training on NDT level-II, CNC programme, Solar PV Installer and Wind Energy in collaboration with industries.
