To date, our Training Centre, R.N.G. Patel Institute of Technology-RNGPIT, with TC ID 196869, situated along Bardoli – Navsari Road, Isroli, Afwa, Bardoli, Gujarat 394620, has successfully trained 30 individuals each in O&M Mechanical Technician, O&M Electrical Technician, and Site Surveyor roles. Our commitment to excellence is further strengthened through an industrial alliance with UGES Powermax Private Limited, Vadodara, fostering training and placement support throughout and post-training.

The Vayumitra Skill Development Programme is distinguished by the participation of 14 professors from RNGPIT, who have completed the Training of Trainers (TOT) program at the National Institute of Wind Energy, Chennai training centre in Kayther, Tamil Nadu. Additionally, four industrial trainers from UGES Powermax Private Limited, Vadodara, contribute to the program’s effectiveness.

We adopt a meticulous approach to candidate selection, shortlisting individuals meeting the educational criteria specified in the Qualification Pack. Emphasis is particularly placed on candidates from rural backgrounds, unemployed youth, women, and those belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories residing in proximity to existing wind farms or potential sites.

Candidates undergoing training at RNGPIT may receive boarding and lodging facilities, ensuring a conducive learning environment. Upon course completion, rigorous assessments will be conducted, and certificates endorsed by NSDC/MSDE, Government of India, will be awarded. NIWE, through a dedicated committee, actively facilitates networking opportunities between meritorious candidates and the wind industry, enhancing their placement prospects.
