ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The department of Information Technology (IT) was established in 2022 offering B.E. program in Information Technology with an intake of 60. Department also offers Hons. specialization in AI&ML. The department aims at imparting quality education in the realm of IT, software engineering and domain specific application with an objective to enhance and expand the knowledge and skill sets of target students, so that they can contribute in the betterment of Society at large. The main objectives of department are to provide Design and develop software products, Real time work experience and Employment. The department has well equipped laboratories like programming for problem solving using C / Python, data structures, database management system, programming with objects, Linux internals, big data and business analytics, case tools, web technologies, cloud application development, data warehousing and data mining, advanced python programming and object oriented modeling, etc. Department also has a SAP Center of Excellence and advance computing laboratories to cater advance technologies like AI, AR/VR, IoT, Data Science, Blockchain Technology etc.

• The graduates will be able to interact with their peers in industries and society as an engineering professionals, entrepreneurs and leaders to set up technical ambience in the society

• Analyse, design and develop algorithmic solutions to any real life problems.
• To provide solutions for complex engineering problems by understanding the computer science concepts.
• To demonstrate the use of knowledge and ability to write programs and integrate them with software/hardware products in the domain of database, networking, data analytics, mobile communication technologies and web technologies.

• Department has signed M.O. U. with IBM Skillsbuild to provide 10000+ free IBM courses and free IBM Cloud Access and Training. 
• Department has signed M.O. U. with SAP INDIA support for Excellence(COE) to give training on various SAP courses. 
• Department has signed M.O. U. with Tata Strive SPOKE MODEL to give training in different various Emerging Technologies.
• Department has signed M.O. U. with LoftySoft AB (Sweden), Getwings Technologies Pvt. Ltd (Ahmedabad) for setting up “IoT Lab” and Centre of excellence in future.
• Department has signed M.O. U. with D-Link for D-Link Academy – An authorized Training Centre for D-Link certified Network Engineers.
• Department has been nominated as “Resource Centre” for Spoken Tutorial by IIT, Bombay, A project founded by MHRD, Government of Maharashtra.
