ASSISTANT ELECTRICIAN

Assistant Electrician Lab is developed to provide training to the trainees aspirant as electrician or superior in electrical work for the installation, repair, and maintenance of temporary LV electrical connections at the construction sites and permanent connections at residential and commercial buildings. The training team imparts comprehensive training with rich knowledge of laying conduits for LV single phase wiring with appropriate selection and use of hand power tools efficiently and electrical devices relevant to construction electrical works to perform installation, repair, and maintenance of LV electrical connections with personal health, safety and environment protocol at construction site.

SOLAR PV INSTALLER- SURYAMITRA

Solar PV Installer is specialized for electrical installations of Solar Photovoltaic Systems as well as maintaining them properly and has the Communication & soft skills. Solar PV Installer checks, adapts implements, configures, installs, inspects, tests, and commissions different components of photovoltaic systems that meet the performance and reliability needs of customers.

After completing this program, participants will be able to Carry out the site survey for installation of Solar PV system, Assess the customer’s Solar PV requirement, Procure the Solar PV system components, Identify and Use the Tools & tackles used for Solar PV system installation, Install the Civil/Mechanical and Electrical components of a Solar PV system, Test and Commission Solar PV system, Maintain Solar PV system, Maintain personal Health & Safety at project site.

VAYUMITRA SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

RNGPIT has an Authorized Training Centre (ATC) of the Vayumitra Skill Development Programme (VSDP), it’s a flagship programme of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India. Implemented by the National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE), Chennai. RNGPIT is associated with UGES Powermax Pvt Ltd, Vadodara for Industrial mentorship, Training and Placement support. Three Qualification Packs are run by RNGPIT under this Scheme as mentioned below.

Department of Electrical Engineering, RNGPIT offers Vayumitra Skill Development Programme (VSDP) in “O & M Electrical & Instrumentation Technician –Wind Power Plant (SGJ/Q1503)” in association with National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE), Chennai and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, New Delhi.
