Prof. Mehul Patel is a dedicated academician in the Mechanical Engineering Department of our esteemed institution. He holds a Master’s degree in Production Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. With a solid foundation in both academia and industry, he brings a wealth of experience to our faculty

Having previously served as a Maintenance Engineer at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, Surat, for over two years, Prof. Patel gained valuable insights into the practical aspects of engineering. Since joining our institute in April 2023 as an Assistant Professor, he has been actively engaged in fostering knowledge and skills among the students.

Prof. Patel’s expertise lies in the Mechanical Design domain, and he is currently delving into the exciting realm of 3D printing and new product development. His passion for innovative design thinking is evident in his commitment to projects with a significant social impact. He aspires to contribute meaningfully to Sustainable Development Goals set by the UNDP through his academic and research endeavors.
