We are delighted to announce that Dr. Vishal Naik, Incharge head of Integrated M.Sc (IT), has successfully completed the prestigious HPC Master Trainer program, a two-week intensive training organized by AICTE & C-DAC, Pune. Selected among 100 participants from across India, the training took place at the renowned C-DAC facilities in Pune.

At C-DAC, participants had access to cutting-edge resources such as supercomputing facilities for both research and commercial purposes , along with the latest technology training tailored for graduate students and faculties.

The objectives of the master trainer program encompass training for both educators and students, workforce development aligned with the National Supercomputing Mission , and providing a platform for tackling large-scale scientific research problems through high-performance computing.

High-performance computing entails the utilization of supercomputing systems, parallel processing, and programming frameworks like OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, and OpenACC. Such advancements in HPC find applications across diverse fields, showcasing its pivotal role in advancing scientific and technological frontiers.
